Production Supervisor
The Die Setter is responsible for setting up and maintaining single hit, transfer, and progressive dies throughout the facility. The Die Setter drives the production line to achieve daily goals. In addition s/he communicates with management regarding daily obstacles and collaborates in assisting to resolve issues.
- Performs die changeovers for production lines.
- Completes the first piece approval process.
- Performs die adjustments when needed.
- Performs periodic quality inspections.
- Leads production line in meeting daily production goals.
- Communicates with tool room regarding die issues and product defects.
- Is reliable and punctual in reporting for work as scheduled.
- Maintains professionalism at all times.
- Performs other duties and/or projects as assigned.
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of basic tools, micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring tools
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Knowledge of punch press safety protocols
- Resilient with a positive attitude
- Self-motivated and solid work ethic
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- 3 years of experience with single hit, transfer, and progressive die setup
- Forklift certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. unassisted
- Frequent standing, pushing, and pulling
