Chocolate Swirl Brownies Recipe


  • 1 cup butter or margarine
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 cups sifted flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups chopped nuts
  • 2 ounces unsweetened chocolate


  1. Preheat oven to 350 F
  2. Cream butter with vanilla, sugar, and eggs. Add flour and salt and mix until blended. Add nuts. Divide batter into halves. Add melted chocolate into one half. Drop batters alternately by tablespoons into your G&S Bake & Roast Pan. Run knife through the batter several times to marbleize. Bake in 350 F oven for 45 minutes.
  3. Makes 24 brownies.
